The Pensacola Interstate Fair opens Thursday, the Blue Angels are scheduled to practice Tuesday, and the weekend brings hockey, live music, Halloween activities and more.

With several local events canceled or rescheduled following the hurricane, we have checked organizer and venue information and left out events currently listed as canceled, including this week's Bands on the Beach and Cinemas in the Sand.

Here are some of the best things to do around Pensacola October 19 through 25.

You can watch from the National Naval Aviation Museum flight line if eligible for base access, or turn the morning into a Pensacola experience by watching from the water.

Get Into Spooky Season With a Haunted Pensacola Tour

Available throughout the week, subject to booking availability

Pensacola

October is the perfect time to explore a different side of Pensacola's history.

Pensacola History & Hauntings offers a guided experience exploring the city's historic past, including stories about haunted locations and some of Pensacola's darker history.

It is a great option for an October date night, visiting friends or anyone looking for something Halloween-themed without going to a traditional haunted house.

Instead of waiting for a scheduled festival, you can build an evening around a haunted history experience.

Make a Week Out of It

Tuesday brings another opportunity to watch the Blue Angels practice over Pensacola.

Then the week picks up Thursday when the Pensacola Interstate Fair opens and Jazz at Jackson's hosts its final performance.

Friday brings Opera After Dark and The Band Perry at the fair.

Saturday is especially busy, with SevilleStock downtown, Hunter Hayes at the fair, Boo at the Zoo and the Pensacola Ice Flyers taking on Huntsville.

Sunday gives families another opportunity to enjoy Boo at the Zoo or spend the afternoon at the fair.

And if you want something with a little Halloween atmosphere, a Pensacola History & Hauntings tour is an easy way to get into spooky season.

Because our area is still recovering from Hurricane Isaias, event schedules may continue to change.
