The first full week of August brings a historic tall ship, free beach concerts, live theater, a Hollywood murder mystery and a classic movie at the Saenger Theatre.

There are also plenty of ways to enjoy Pensacola Beach, from parasailing during the day to clear kayaks glowing across the water after dark.

Here are some of the best things to do around Pensacola this week.

See The New Cahoots at Bands on the Beach

Tuesday, August 4

7 PM to 9 PM

Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach

Pensacola Beach

Bands on the Beach continues Tuesday night with a free performance from The New Cahoots.

The weekly concert series takes place beside the Gulf at the Gulfside Pavilion. Guests can bring chairs or blankets, grab dinner nearby and enjoy live music from 7 to 9 PM.

Pets and glass containers are not permitted in the concert area. The free Pensacola Beach trolley can also help visitors avoid some of the parking congestion near Casino Beach.
