What Your Ticket Includes

General-admission tickets include entry to Sunday’s event and food prepared by the participating EggChef teams.

The official attendee page currently lists general admission at $35. However, older pricing tiers showing increases to $45 and $55 have been crossed out on that page. Buyers should confirm the final price displayed during checkout before purchasing.

VIP tickets are listed at $75. VIP admission includes entry beginning at 11 a.m., the food served during Sunday’s EggFest and access to the exclusive Friday-night VIP Dinner with the cook teams.

Children younger than 10 receive free admission.

Tickets are limited, and organizers say the event can sell out.

Barbecue With a Tailgating Theme

This year’s theme is tailgating. Guests are encouraged to wear apparel representing their favorite college or professional team.

Instead of purchasing individual tasting portions from separate vendors, attendees can sample dishes prepared by the event’s barbecue teams as part of their admission.

The festival is centered on Big Green Egg cooking, but the dishes are not limited to traditional barbecue. Participating cooks use the ceramic grills to prepare a variety of savory and sweet samples.

The exact menu depends on the individual teams, and organizers do not guarantee that every sample will remain available throughout the afternoon. Arriving near the beginning of the appropriate admission period will provide the widest selection.

Auctions, Drinks and Entertainment

The Sunday event will include entertainment, drinks, a silent auction and a live auction.

Some beverages or auction purchases may cost extra. The official attendee page does not publish a complete beverage menu or auction catalog in advance.

The VIP Dinner on November 13 gives ticket holders an opportunity to meet the teams before Sunday’s main event. It runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Hadji Temple.

Where the Money Goes

Pensacola EggFest is operated entirely by volunteers and raises money for local nonprofit organizations.

The event reports donating more than $1 million to charitable causes since 2013. Beneficiaries include Rally Pensacola, Manna Food Pantry, Studer Community Institute and other local organizations.

That charitable mission gives the event a wider purpose than a standard food festival. Ticket purchases support an afternoon of tastings while contributing to programs serving families across the Pensacola area.

Parking and Planning

The event takes place at the Hadji Temple on West Nine Mile Road. The official attendee information does not list a separate parking fee or overflow parking plan.

Guests should arrive before their admission period, particularly if they want to sample dishes from the largest possible number of teams. Food is served in tasting portions and may become limited as the afternoon progresses.

Anyone with food allergies or dietary restrictions should ask individual teams about ingredients. The organizers have not published a universal allergen menu, and dishes may be prepared in shared cooking areas.

Purchase tickets through the official Pensacola EggFest website, confirm the amount shown at checkout and wear your favorite team colors for this year’s tailgating theme.
