The Fiesta celebration continues on the water this weekend as the annual Fiesta Boat Parade returns to Pensacola Bay.

Following Friday night's Grand Fiesta Parade downtown, DeLuna's court, crew, and a colorful fleet of decorated boats will cruise across Pensacola Bay on Saturday afternoon as part of one of Fiesta Pensacola's most unique traditions.

The event brings the Fiesta spirit from the streets to the water and offers some of the best waterfront viewing opportunities of the season.

The parade features:

  • Decorated boats

  • DeLuna and his court

  • Fiesta royalty

  • Local boaters

  • Colorful maritime displays

The event serves as the nautical continuation of Fiesta Pensacola's annual celebrations and honors Don Tristan de Luna, the Spanish explorer who established Pensacola in 1559.

Best Places to Watch

For those watching from land, organizers recommend viewing from:

  • Plaza De Luna

  • Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Resource Center

Both locations provide excellent views of Pensacola Bay and the passing parade vessels.

Many spectators bring chairs and arrive early to claim waterfront viewing spots.

A Pensacola Tradition on the Water

The Fiesta Boat Parade has become one of the most distinctive events of Fiesta Pensacola.

While Friday night's Grand Fiesta Parade fills downtown streets with floats, bands, and moonpies, Saturday's boat parade highlights Pensacola's connection to the bay and maritime history.

The event has been part of the broader Fiesta celebrations for decades and remains a favorite among both boaters and waterfront spectators.
