Pumpkin season has officially arrived in North Escambia.

The Allen Memorial Methodist Men Pumpkin Patch has opened for its 31st year near Highway 29 and Neal Road in Cantonment. The patch is open every day, including Sunday afternoons, giving Pensacola-area families another traditional fall outing within a short drive of the city.

Admission information and individual pumpkin prices were not published in the opening announcement. Visitors should expect prices to vary according to pumpkin size and type.

Cantonment Pumpkin Patch Hours and Location

Cantonment, Florida

Hours:

  • Monday through Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Sunday: 1 to 6 p.m.

The pumpkins are displayed beneath the large tent near the Highway 29 intersection.

An exact closing date has not been announced. Pumpkin patches typically operate while supplies last, so families planning a late-season visit should verify that pumpkins remain available.

A 31-Year Cantonment Tradition

Volunteers from the Northview High School NJROTC and Tribal Beat Band helped unload and arrange this year’s pumpkin shipment.

Their participation continues the community-centered character that has made the patch a recognizable fall landmark in Cantonment. Rather than operating as a large commercial attraction, the patch offers a simple place to choose pumpkins, take seasonal photographs and support a longstanding local fundraiser.

Organizers have confirmed one change for 2026: smoked turkey legs will not be sold this year.

How Much Do Pumpkins Cost?

The organizers had not published a 2026 price list when this article was prepared.

Pumpkin prices commonly vary by size, but visitors should not rely on prices from previous years. Cash and card policies also remain unconfirmed.

Families should bring more than one payment option or contact the organizers before visiting if their purchase depends on using a credit card.

Parking and Visitor Information

A separate parking charge has not been announced.

Visitors should enter and exit carefully because Highway 29 carries significant traffic. Follow posted signs and volunteer directions rather than stopping along the roadway.

The opening announcement did not list restroom availability, wheelchair accessibility, pet rules, scheduled activities or professional-photography policies. Anyone requiring those accommodations should confirm them before visiting.

Planning a Fall Photo Stop

The big tent and rows of pumpkins make the patch a convenient seasonal photo location, especially for families in Cantonment, Molino and northern Pensacola.

The simplest times to visit may be weekday mornings or afternoons, when crowds are generally lighter than weekend periods. Parents should keep children away from the parking area and Highway 29 while taking photographs.

Visit early in the season for the broadest pumpkin selection, and verify availability if you plan to go close to Halloween.
