Three Nights of Professional Bull Riding

Bulls on the Beach brings professional bull riders from around the country to a temporary rodeo arena at the Flora-Bama for three nights of competition.

Thursday has a stronger family focus before the professional bull riding begins, while Friday and Saturday feature the adult bull riding competition.

Each night also has its own theme, so guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion.

Children 12 and younger can enter the annual coloring contest for a chance to win one of two new bicycles. One boy and one girl will be selected during intermission. Completed coloring sheets must be turned in by 8 PM Thursday night.

Seating Is First Come, First Served

All Bulls on the Beach seating is general admission bleacher seating and available on a first come, first served basis.

Parking at Flora-Bama is also extremely limited during the event, so arriving early is strongly recommended. Arena gates open two hours before the bull riding begins, giving guests time to find seats and enjoy the live music before the competition.

Guests should also bring a current physical form of identification. Flora-Bama says paper and digital IDs will not be accepted for event entry.

Planning to Stay Overnight?

Bulls on the Beach Supports St. Jude

A portion of proceeds from Bulls on the Beach will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Flora-Bama partners with St. Jude through the annual event to raise money supporting pediatric research and treatment.

Know Before You Go

Bulls on the Beach is one of Flora-Bama’s most popular annual events, and the combination of limited parking, general admission seating and a large weekend crowd makes arriving early especially important.

Flora-Bama opens at 5 PM, arena gates open at 6 PM and bull riding starts at 8 PM each night. Guests younger than 21 will not be permitted back inside Flora-Bama after the rodeo has ended.

Tickets are available now for September 10, 11 and 12.
