This is one of those weeks where there is something completely different happening almost every day around Pensacola.
The Blue Angels are flying Tuesday morning, Pensacola Beach has a free concert Tuesday night, country star Josh Turner takes over the Saenger Thursday, and then downtown and the beach get especially busy heading into the weekend with Gallery Night, the Gulf Coast Summer Fest Jazz Edition and hundreds of Corvettes at Casino Beach.

Watch the Blue Angels Practice Over NAS Pensacola
Tuesday, September 15

National Naval Aviation Museum

The Blue Angels are back in the air over Pensacola Tuesday morning for another hometown practice.
Practices normally begin at or around 10:30 AM and last approximately 45 minutes. The National Naval Aviation Museum flight line provides the official public viewing area, and both the practice and museum admission are free. September 15 is not currently listed as an autograph session date.
Visitors should enter NAS Pensacola through the West Gate and make sure everyone in the vehicle has the required government issued identification.

Catch a Free Concert on Pensacola Beach

Bands on the Beach continues Tuesday night with Count the Years taking the stage at the Gulfside Pavilion.
The Pensacola Beach concert series is free and takes place overlooking the Gulf. Count the Years plays a mix of music spanning multiple decades, including pop, rock and other familiar hits.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and make an evening out of it. Free parking is available around Casino Beach.

Country music fans have one of the biggest concerts of the week Thursday night.
Josh Turner brings his This Country Music Thing Tour to the Saenger Theatre, giving Pensacola a chance to hear the unmistakable voice behind songs like “Your Man,” “Long Black Train” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance.”
The show begins at 7:30 PM and seating is reserved.
This is also an easy excuse to head downtown early for dinner before the show.
Head Downtown for Gallery Night and the Latino Festival
Friday, September 18
5 PM to 9 PM

Gallery Night takes over downtown Friday evening with one of its biggest themed nights of the year.
September’s event is Viva Pensacola: Latino Festival, combining the regular Gallery Night experience with a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
More than 70 art vendors are expected throughout the downtown event footprint alongside live performances and creative experiences. This year’s Latino Festival also features a live performance from Sonora Dinamita along with music, artists and cultural presentations representing Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Peru and more.
Gallery Night runs from 5 PM to 9 PM and is free to attend.
Spend the Weekend at Gulf Coast Summer Fest Jazz Edition

One of Pensacola’s biggest music weekends of September takes over the waterfront Friday through Sunday.
The Gulf Coast Summer Fest Jazz Edition celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with three days of jazz, R&B and live music at Community Maritime Park.
Friday’s lineup includes Eric Darius, Julian Vaughn, Jazmin Ghent and Pieces of a Dream.
Saturday features performers including Rick Braun, Vincent Ingala, Jazz Funk Soul and Marcus Miller.
Sunday closes the festival with a lineup including Jeff Bradshaw, Brian Simpson, Richard Elliot, Adam Hawley and Boney James.
Guests can bring lawn chairs and coolers, and food vendors will also be onsite. The festival is for ages 18 and older.

Pensacola Beach turns into a giant Corvette show Saturday.
The 23rd annual Vettes at the Beach brings more than 200 Corvettes and enthusiasts from across the country to Casino Beach for a full morning and afternoon of cars, trophies and beach views.
Expect everything from classic early generation Corvettes to modern C8s, with more than 30 trophies scheduled to be awarded.
The show begins at 8 AM, with trophy presentations and drawings scheduled for around 2:30 PM.
Proceeds from the event help support Santa Rosa Kids’ House and Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Florida.
Go Ghost Hunting at the Pensacola Lighthouse

Once the Corvette show wraps up, there is a completely different way to spend Saturday night.
The Pensacola Lighthouse is hosting one of its nighttime ghost tours Saturday from 6:45 PM to 9 PM.
The experience takes guests inside the historic 1869 Keeper’s Quarters for a guided ghost hunt and also includes a climb to the top of the lighthouse tower when weather allows.
Because the lighthouse is located aboard NAS Pensacola, civilian guests should review the event’s current base access and shuttle requirements before arriving.
Advance booking is recommended.
Make a Weekend Out of It
There is enough happening this week to build completely different plans depending on what you are into.
Catch the Blue Angels Tuesday morning and Bands on the Beach that night. Head downtown Thursday for Josh Turner. Come back Friday for Gallery Night and the Latino Festival, then choose between waterfront jazz, hundreds of Corvettes or a nighttime lighthouse ghost hunt over the weekend.
And if you still have an open afternoon, there are plenty of cruises, tours and watersports operating around Pensacola Beach while the September weather is still warm.
