This week brings a little bit of everything to Pensacola, from a major restaurant grand opening to Blue Angels practice, downtown food tours, local markets, beach day trips, and a haunted lighthouse tour.

Whether you want something easy with the family, something indoors, something outside, or a reason to get over to the beach, there are several good options happening around Pensacola this week.

Here are six things to check out around Pensacola this week.

Raising Cane’s Pensacola Grand Opening

Tuesday, June 16
5110 N. 9th Ave., Pensacola
Doors open at 10 AM

Raising Cane’s opens its first Pensacola restaurant this Tuesday on North 9th Avenue near Cordova Mall.

Opening day includes giveaways, a ribbon cutting, local appearances, and a chance for early customers to win Free Cane’s for a Year. The “Lucky 30” drawing runs from 8 AM to 9 AM, with winners drawn shortly after. Customers must be present to win.

Watch the Blue Angels Practice

Wednesday, June 17
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Pensacola area viewing spots

The Blue Angels are scheduled for practice this week, giving locals and visitors another chance to catch the Blues over Pensacola.

Practice days can get busy, especially around popular viewing spots, so plan ahead if you are watching from Fort Pickens, the Blue Angel Parkway area, or from the water. Boat cruises remain one of the easiest ways to avoid traffic and crowds while still getting a strong view of the show.

Take a Day Trip to Navarre Beach

Any day this week
Navarre Beach

If you want a slower beach day this week, Navarre Beach is an easy day trip from Pensacola.

Visitors can spend the day on the sand, walk the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, visit the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, or book activities like jet ski rentals, pontoon rentals, kayaks, paddleboards, surf lessons, and dolphin cruises. It is a good option if you want clear water, white sand, and a less crowded beach day compared to busier parts of Pensacola Beach.
