Downtown Pensacola fills with marching bands, moonpies, floats, and Fiesta energy Friday night as the Grand Fiesta Parade returns for another year.

The annual parade is one of the most recognizable Fiesta of Five Flags traditions and regularly draws thousands of spectators into the heart of downtown Pensacola to kick off the weekend.

For many locals, it’s one of the signature nights of Fiesta season.

Families typically line Palafox Street and surrounding downtown blocks well before the parade begins.

What To Expect Downtown

The Grand Fiesta Parade combines Pensacola’s historic Fiesta traditions with a lively downtown street festival atmosphere.

Restaurants and bars throughout downtown usually stay busy before and after the parade, while paradegoers crowd sidewalks waiting for floats, music, and throws to roll through the city.

Parking Information

Parking throughout downtown Pensacola will be first come, first served.

Most downtown lots are privately owned and many are expected to charge event parking fees Friday evening.

Handicap parking will be available after 5:00 PM at:
📍 Smart Bank parking lot
Corner of Gregory Street and Palafox Street

Signs will mark the designated handicap parking area.

Arriving early is highly recommended due to expected crowds.
