A familiar piece of the Gulf Coast is now appearing on one of the world’s most advanced concert stages.

The Flora-Bama is featured in the immersive visuals for Kenny Chesney’s latest residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. During the show, the venue’s massive wraparound screen transports concertgoers inside the famous state-line roadhouse, complete with its bars, graffiti-covered walls, memorabilia, and other recognizable details.

The visuals appear during “When I See This Bar,” giving fans in Las Vegas the feeling of being inside the Flora-Bama while Chesney performs.

Flora-Bama Takes Over the Sphere

Images shared from the opening night show Chesney and special guest Eric Church performing in front of a larger-than-life Flora-Bama bar.

The digital scene includes towering barstools, years of graffiti beneath the counter, and walls covered with newspaper and magazine clippings about the Gulf Coast landmark.

Fans who attended the show also reported seeing other familiar Flora-Bama details stretched across the Sphere, including the collection of bras hanging inside the Dome Stage.

“The Flora-Bama… at the Sphere!” the venue shared in a social media post. “We’re honored to be featured in the visuals for Kenny Chesney’s Sphere residency in Las Vegas. Seeing a little piece of the Gulf Coast showcased on one of the world’s most iconic stages is pretty incredible.”

Eric Church Joins Kenny Chesney During Opening Night

Eric Church joined Chesney during the sold-out opening night of the residency.

The two performed a segment that included Chesney’s “When I See This Bar,” along with Church’s “Drink in My Hand” and “Springsteen.”

The Flora-Bama imagery served as the backdrop during the bar-themed portion of the show, helping connect the performance to a place that has become closely associated with Chesney, his music, and his No Shoes Nation fanbase.

Kenny Chesney Performed at Flora-Bama Earlier This Year

The Sphere appearance comes just months after Chesney performed a special concert at the Flora-Bama.

Chesney took the Dome Stage on April 18, 2026, for a performance celebrating the 10th anniversary of his No Shoes Radio channel on SiriusXM.

A limited audience attended the show inside the Flora-Bama, continuing a long connection between Chesney and the Gulf Coast venue.

Chesney also performed the massive Flora Bama Jama concert outside the venue in 2014, drawing fans from across the region for a beachfront show at the Florida-Alabama state line.

Imagery from that concert reportedly appears during the Sphere residency as well.

Flora-Bama Footage Was Filmed for the Sphere

The Flora-Bama footage used in Las Vegas was not simply recorded during Chesney’s April concert.

Director and producer Shaun Silva said the scenes were captured months earlier using the Big Sky camera, an immersive camera system developed specifically for creating content for Sphere.

The camera allows filmmakers to capture real locations in a format that can surround the audience inside the venue.

According to Silva, the technology works especially well for an artist like Chesney, whose music is closely connected to real places, memories, and experiences.

Rather than relying entirely on animation, the footage allows the audience to feel transported into locations that have inspired Chesney and his music.

Kenny Chesney Brings Meaningful Places into the Show

The Flora-Bama is one of several real-world locations featured during Chesney’s Sphere production.

The show uses immersive visuals to take fans through scenes connected to songs throughout his career, including his Tennessee hometown, the Virgin Islands, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, beaches, piers, and other locations.

Chesney said the Sphere allows him to build a deeper connection between the music and the places behind it.

During “I Go Back,” fans are transported to locations from his childhood. Other songs feature scenes from the Virgin Islands, downtown Los Angeles, and even the inside of a giant pinball machine.

For “When I See This Bar,” the Flora-Bama becomes part of that experience.

A Gulf Coast Landmark on a Global Stage

For the Flora-Bama, appearing inside the Sphere places the legendary Gulf Coast venue in front of a massive national audience.

Located on the Florida-Alabama state line, the Flora-Bama has become known for live music, beach events, annual traditions, and its unmistakable roadhouse atmosphere.

Its appearance during Chesney’s Las Vegas residency gives concertgoers thousands of miles away a look inside one of the Gulf Coast’s most recognizable music venues.

Seven shows remain in Chesney’s latest Sphere residency, which is scheduled to conclude July 11.
