Travel between Pensacola and Orlando just got easier.

Breeze Airways recently celebrated the inaugural nonstop flight connecting Pensacola International Airport and Orlando, adding another direct route for travelers moving between the Gulf Coast and Central Florida.

The new route provides a faster option for both vacationers and business travelers who previously had to connect through larger hubs to reach Orlando.

New Route Adds More Travel Options for Pensacola

The Pensacola to Orlando service currently operates twice per week on Thursdays and Sundays.

Airport officials say the airline plans to expand the route to four weekly flights later this year, depending on demand.

The addition gives travelers a convenient option to visit popular destinations like:

• Walt Disney World
• Universal Orlando Resort
• Orlando’s convention and business district
• Central Florida attractions and events

It also provides an easy travel option for residents in the Orlando area looking to visit Pensacola’s beaches.

Breeze Airways Expanding at Pensacola International Airport

Breeze Airways first began service in Pensacola in 2024 and has quickly expanded its presence at the airport.

With the addition of the Orlando route, the airline now operates approximately 25 weekly flights connecting Pensacola to seven nonstop destinations.

Airport leaders say the growth reflects strong demand for additional direct routes in and out of Pensacola.

Expanded air service not only improves convenience for travelers but also helps support tourism and economic growth in the region.

What This Means for Pensacola Visitors

For visitors planning a trip to the Gulf Coast, the new route makes it easier than ever to reach Pensacola.

Direct flights allow travelers to spend less time connecting through other airports and more time enjoying the area’s beaches, restaurants, and attractions.

As Pensacola continues to grow as a travel destination, additional routes like this one help make the city more accessible for visitors from across Florida and beyond.
