Pensacola will get nearly two games for one ticket after consecutive rainouts disrupted the Wahoos’ series against Knoxville.
Pensacola Blue Wahoos fans have an unusually full afternoon of baseball ahead Thursday, August 20. Tuesday’s suspended game against the Knoxville Smokies will resume at 3:05 p.m. at Blue Wahoos Stadium, followed by Thursday’s regularly scheduled matchup approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends.
Tuesday’s game will restart in the top of the second inning with Knoxville leading 9-0. The second contest will be shortened to seven innings under Minor League Baseball rules, the Blue Wahoos announced Wednesday.
Which Tickets Work Thursday?
Anyone holding a ticket for Thursday’s game can enter both contests and use the seat printed on that ticket.
Fans with tickets from Tuesday’s suspended game or Wednesday’s postponed game cannot use those tickets for Thursday’s doubleheader. Instead, they may exchange them for a remaining 2026 regular-season game, subject to availability.
Exchanges must be completed in person at the Blue Wahoos Ticket Office. Replacement tickets will be for a seat of equal or lesser value, and the team will not process exchanges by phone, email or fax.
Tickets for Thursday remain available through the Blue Wahoos ticket page, with prices varying by seat and availability.
Stadium and Parking Information
Blue Wahoos Stadium is at 351 W. Cedar St. in downtown Pensacola. The ballpark is cashless, including its ticketing and concession operations.
The team provides an official parking map through its stadium information page, but it has not published a confirmed event-specific parking price for Thursday. Fans should arrive early because the 3:05 p.m. restart overlaps with downtown business traffic.
Wednesday’s unplayed game has not received a new date. According to the team, it will be rescheduled only if Major League Baseball determines the game is necessary.
Thursday ticket holders are getting a rare chance to watch an extended afternoon of baseball along Pensacola Bay. Check the team’s website for any additional weather changes before leaving, then browse Must Do Pensacola’s guide to the best local activities if you want to build a complete downtown day around the games.
