Paddlers from across the Southeast are heading to Navarre Beach this weekend for the 5th Annual Navarre Paddle Classic.
The event takes place May 16–17, 2026 at the Navarre Beach Marine Park on the Santa Rosa Sound and combines paddle races, beach activities, vendors, and conservation efforts supporting the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center.

What Makes the Event Unique
The Navarre Paddle Classic brings together competitive racers, casual paddlers, beach visitors, and families for a weekend centered around human-powered water sports.
Unlike some larger paddle races that focus strictly on competition, the NPC keeps a more relaxed beach atmosphere throughout the weekend while still drawing experienced racers from across the region.
The event is also part of the 2026 USA SUP Regional Series, meaning racers competing in the 3-mile and 6-mile divisions can earn official regional ranking points.

One of the biggest additions this year is the expansion into more technical race formats on Sunday, May 17.

The Sunday technical events add a more spectator-friendly side to the weekend, especially near the beach and buoy turn areas.

Food trucks and vendors will also be set up onsite throughout the event weekend.
Race jerseys are custom designed specifically for the Navarre Paddle Classic each year and are one of the more popular parts of the registration package.
