About The Modern Eldorados

The Modern Eldorados blend classic country, honky tonk, and early rock ‘n’ roll into a live show heavily inspired by the sounds of the 1950s.

Fans can expect music influenced by artists including:

  • George Jones

  • Patsy Cline

  • Elvis Presley

  • Hank Williams

  • Johnny Cash

  • Marty Robbins

The group was formed in 1996 by singer and songwriter Gretsch Lyle, whose sound draws heavily from traditional Southern country music and classic Americana influences.

Raised in Baldwin County, Alabama, Lyle began performing music at a young age and built the band around preserving the sound and style of classic American honky tonk music.

One of Pensacola Beach’s Biggest Summer Traditions

Bands on the Beach continues to be one of the most attended free concert series on the Gulf Coast during summer.

The weekly Tuesday night concerts regularly bring large crowds to Casino Beach with live music directly along the waterfront.

The combination of sunset views, beach atmosphere, and free live music makes it one of the easiest summer activities to add to a Pensacola Beach trip.
